Proposal of process control in production safety valve
Jaša, Aleš ; Prokop, Jaroslav (referee) ; Pernikář, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is precise definition of control processes for components of Pressure Limit Valve 5 Generation (PLV5) which is produced by Bosch Diesel Ltd. in Jihlava. The objective was to define measurement methods which ensure identical results of measurement between co. Bosch Diesel Ltd. in Jihlava and suppliers of individual components. The results of this study are introduced into control drawings and described in individual conclusions of the thesis.
Ovality measurement of extruded fiber using three cameras
Loučka, Pavel ; Martišek, Dalibor (referee) ; Štarha, Pavel (advisor)
One of the important parameters observed during extruded fibre fabrication is its diameter. The diameter can be measured with a single scanning camera assuming that the fibre section has a circular shape. As proved in practice, another important parameter is ovality, that is the rate of fibre flattening. This paper assumes that the fibre section shape is elliptical. In such a case, at least three different views on examined fibre are needed. Mathematical part of this paper is concerned with analytical description of fibre ovality measurement using two different approaches based on the knowledge of linear algebra, projective geometry and conic sections theory. Main goal of this paper is thus to use both mathematical theory and image analysis methods for ovality and diameter determination. Precise calcluation of such quantities is, however, conditioned on precise camera system calibration, which is described in the paper as well. Additionally, the work contains a brief mention of technical realization of ovality measurement and its possible difficulties.
Reference signals in intracranial EEG: implementation and analysis
Uher, Daniel ; Hejč, Jakub (referee) ; Ronzhina, Marina (advisor)
The idea of a artifact-free brain activity recording has been circling around the scientific world for a few decades. Parasitic phenomenons and unwanted components may significatntly complicate the analysis of intracranial electroencephalographic (iEEG) recordings. However, with the rise of modern technology, new methods for precise removal of noise artifacts started to emerge. Here we use the concept of virtual reference signals for the elimination of such unwanted components. In this work, the algorithms for reference signal estimation using common average based method as well as more recent methods based on independent component analysis (ICA) were realized and evaluated on a variety of iEEG data. It was found that the ICA-based algorithms allow obtaining more accurate estimation of the reference signal as compared to the average-based one. Finally, all the methods were implemented into a open-source Python package đť‘źđť‘’đť‘“đť‘ đť‘–đť‘”, which is publicly available, easy to install and ready to use.
Design of outlet and intake objects of Nové Heřminovy dam
Neuvirt, Petr ; Švancara, Jiří (referee) ; Zachoval, Zbyněk (advisor)
In this thesis was presented Nové Heřminovy dam with basic parameters. Requirements on bottom outlets and intake objects are presented as well. Analysis of used valves on all dams in Czech Republic was done as an underlay for suggestions of bottom outlets in this thesis. The main task was to suggest three variations of bottom outlets. Differences are in number of outlets, dimensions, placing and valves. Then variation of intake objects. Each of variation was verbally described and filled with calculations.
Evaluation design of civil airports effectivity indices
Novotný, Roman ; Janík, Radomír (referee) ; Veselý, Petr (advisor)
Introductory part of this thesis concludes the development of air traffic, division of airports in the Czech Republic according to the Ministry of Transport, according to the Law on Civil Aviation and according to the Coding of the airports (Requirement L 14). The aim was to realize theoretical definition and division of output and economic indicators. After that comes choice of appropriate airports from the European Union. The choice has been made on the basis of the number of check-in passengers at the airport in Prague-Ruzyně. Eight most suitable airports have been chosen from all twenty-seven member countries of the EU. The following step is comparative analysis of these chosen airports on the basis of specified output and economic indicators for the years 2005-2009. The year 2010 has not been included, because the chosen airports did not complete their annual reports, balances and statements of profit and loss. From these sources the values for calculation of individual indicators have been chosen. These indicators have been shown in charts, evaluated by means of graphs in Excel Programme and further they have been characterized in words. The aim of the thesis was also the evaluation and comparison of output and economic indicators of effectiveness and after evaluation, proposal of methods of evaluations has followed.
Diverzifikace v odměňování mužů a žen
Šáchová, Pavlína
Šáchová, P., Diversification in the rewarding of Men and Women. Diploma Thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2019. The theme of this diploma thesis is the diversification of the rewarding of men and women in two companies. First company is focused on automotive industry. The second company is focused on agriculture. The subject of investigation was accounted average gross wages and hourly wage tariffs. Based on data, which was provided by the companies has been done analysis, which was fucused on monthly and annual wages. According to lenght of employment, gender, age, and education has been done evaluation of the possible existence of wage diversification. Investigation was focused to incentive wage components too. At the end of the thesis were defined suggestions, which can be helpful for inequalities in rewarding.

Analysis of salaries and wages in the capital city of Prague
Jermář, Martin ; Löster, Tomáš (advisor) ; Šimpach, Ondřej (referee)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the development of wages and salaries in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic by using statistical methods. The thesis includes a general description of terms of salary and wage sphere, time series and selected applied statistical methods. In practical part the analysis of development of wages and salaries in Prague will be performed using the rates of dynamics. Further, time series predictions will be created using adaptive methods. The analysis should familiarize the reader with wage and salary developments for the period from 2011 to 2016 and outline the predictions of possible values in 2017. The results of the thesis show a higher increase in average and median monthly earnings in a wage sphere, increasing disproportions in monthly earning between men and women and bigger disproportions in monthly earnings in the wage sphere. Based on predictions performed the growth of wages and salaries is expected in 2017.
